Show and Tell
Every April, after the regular club meeting we host the annual Show and Tell night. This is where you get to show off your latest project. Bring your model out and tell us how you build it. What equipment are you using? How did you cover the model? Tell everybody what’s special about it. You may look at a machine gun on somebody’s model and not realize that it is made from a ball point pen, tin foil, clay, paint, decals that you made, and that it took 10 days make.
Not only is this a time to show off but it is also a competition for the Hugh Maclure trophy. The winner will have their name engraved on the trophy for everyone to see for many years to come. This year we also awarded a jug of fuel to the winner.
Here is club president Dennis Koroluk displaying his latest Xcel helicopters.
You can see the Hugh Maclure trophy leaning against the picture on the wall.

Ron Grist’s beautiful Super Stinker.

Kelly Martel and his model.

George Chapman with his model.

Gerry Fingler and his electrics.
And now for the 2004 Show and Tell winner.
The winner is decided by the club members voting for their favourite model. This year was special as we had a tie. The winners decided to share the first prize instead of having a revote for one overall winner. I think that was very nice as they were all winners for bringing their models out.

First Prize: Len Gladstone with his beautiful turbine powered jet.

First Prize: Chris Robinson with a fantastic Mustang
So everyone, get ready for the next Show and Tell.
